For the third year in a row, Funnelbox and its subsidiaries have been recognized by the Portland Business Journal as one of the Fastest Growing Private 100 companies in Oregon and SW Washington. Think about that. How many private businesses are there in Oregon?
From the mom and pop shops, independent stores and restaurants, to some of the most innovative firms and agencies in the Northwest, various census reports and other Google-findings suggest a very high number. To be in the top one-hundred, in terms of growth, out of thousands of companies is an immense honor for the Funnelbox team. It’s also greatly deserved. Our crew of producers, creatives, and production and post-production pros work with an energy and passion that is rare in our industry. But, for us, is business as unusual [see what I did there?].
After two years in the #8 slot, this year’s placement at #59 is not surprising. Just as a growing kid has to fill out his new clothes, our increased size has required many shifts in how we operate; not all have worked, but we are daily reimagining the shape of Funnelbox. Starting with our a culture, we’re continually exploring how to improve our shop-life, streamline workflows, and attract new business while delighting our current customers.
If you’ve watched Robb and James expound on our philosophy of being Disciplined Creative, you know this is an integral part of who we are.
