The Crew
The funnelbox team is a collection of disciplined management and fresh, creative minds. We are award-winning directors, artists, producers, writers, animators, communication strategists, and digital media specialists.
Telling stories in the most compelling and creative way is what the funnelbox team is all about.

Robb Crocker CEO, Creative DirectorHis title says CEO, but Robb’s really the head coach at funnelbox, because he likes nothing more than seeing his crew invent, grow and succeed without him. Loves it as much as blending music, sound, action and images in this art called moving pictures. That’s why he founded funnelbox over ten years ago, because there’s great satisfaction in the work. Even more if it airs on the Super Bowl (and it has). |
James Horn VP of OperationsJames is all about the details- coordinating vision, time and budgets to create superior work. James’ passion is to share moving, untold stories- but not just his client’s tales. His own quirky documentaries tackle a wide range of subjects, from the inventor of “Magic Fingers” (the genius behind coin-operated vibrating beds), to producing music videos starring his (adorable!) daughter, Beatrix. |

Joel Wasko Production ManagerJoel’s job is to make sure everything works, both in the office and out in the field. He applies his background in video encoding and audio mixing towards his quest to perfect the crucial details and ensure all team members are on the same page. Lunch on a sand dune, shooting from a snow mobile, interviewing Secret Service agents, capturing midnight alligator calls – all in a day’s work for Joel. |
Darcy Feinstein ProducerAs a Freelance Producer, Darcy oversees field production for funnelbox. On set, everyone stands in amazement as Darcy coordinates every last detail of the shoot (and, somehow, always finds time to bring the entire crew Voodoo donuts). Darcy balances her thirty years in the film industry with teaching yoga professionally, which she claims relaxes her from the “alleged demands” of funnelbox. |
Julie Flesner Office HonchoNeed a name, number, production schedule, script critique or brunch for 20? Call Julie. And thank your lucky stars CBS didn’t option the jingle-writing-Nashville-reality-TV-show she was set to star in. Otherwise, this 10-year marketing maven would’ve settled a bit further south of Oregon City. |

Steve Crocker Senior EditorSteve could (and has) worked 16 hours straight on a project, making the intricate, layered, indiscernible tweaks that make a video sing. When is it done, Steve? “When you can’t take your eyes off it.” Steve is equally as passionate about keeping Oregon City parking enforcement officials busy. He parks his motorcycle illegally any chance he gets. |
Ivan Vidovic Motion DesignerIvan comes to funnelbox from Bosnia and is happiest when ideas, planning and teamwork create seamless results (see smile, above). For new ideas, Ivan turns to old movie posters, especially the stark, simple creations – think Vertigo, West Side Story – of Saul Bass. |
Julius Jockusch IT ManagerJulius is the IT Manager and overall effects guy at funnelbox. Not only does he rig, model and animate in 2D and 3D, he’ll even re-system a computer to achieve the best effect. He once turned a 30-jointed invasive crustacean into General Mittencrab. And he still gets choked up watching the beautiful, tactile garbage dumps of WALL-E. |

Kyle Glenn Assistant DirectorKyle loves turning the collaborative chaos of filmmaking into beautiful, compelling art. He believes in the power of images, and still gets chills when he thinks about the twins, the elevator and the boy on the Big Wheel in The Shining. |
Sean O’Grady Best BoySean assists field production at funnelbox, finding the best places to shoot and making sure everything goes smoothly on site. Or improvising solutions when they don’t. It’s a gift, responding coolly mid-crisis, skills that will someday inform the Kung Fu/Hip-Hop movie he’s itching to make. |
Colleen Rowley Associate ProducerHailing from the tropical island of Grenada, Colleen is unafraid to tackle any project with the ferociousness of a lion and the cunning of a fox. On set, she provides assistance on everything from script supervision to wardrobe and styling. If you hear a monkey wail echoing down the corridors of funnelbox, don’t worry, it’s just Colleen beating the odds. |

Jamie Peterson Graphic DesignerJamie Peterson may just be the hardest-working person we’ve ever met… let’s just say he keeps his shaving kit in our bathroom. He graduated from Vancouver Film School (BC) with a degree in Digital Design, but what really impressed us were his karaoke skills. Jamie Peterson was raised in Central Oregon, but not by wolves. Honestly, where do these rumors get started. |
Matt Roberts EditorMatt comes from the tundra of Alaska, but decided early on to migrate to Montana, where he first fell in love with film and filmmaking. When he’s not big game hunting or bumping Hip-Hop, Matt is cutting scripts and clips into funnelbox masterpieces. Guy Ritchie fan, co-creator of the Harry Potter Minute, and the owner of a chocolate lab named Duncan, Matt has an incredible knack for turning hours of raw footage into smooth, seamless videos. |
Tim Connolly ControllerTim is responsible for whipping our books into shape. Which he does with ease, having countless years of financial consulting experience in his portfolio. At home, Tim likes to soak in the scenic views from his back porch, which happens to be on the side of a mountain (Oh, the perks of living in Portland). With those kind of views, we can see why he only makes it into our office twice a week. |
